woke up quite late today, sigh hate it when i waste my morning sleeping.

played 1game of dota and studied at 3pm.

so happy i finished transcription, at least its better den nothing :)

i rmb the 4conserved features,

transcription got 5stages..

1) Preliminary

where holoenzyme attach itself to DNA which result in close binary complex and convert to open binary complex(unwinding)

2) Initiation

where the 1st 9nt bonds where made, sigma factor detaches

3) Elongation

where RNA polymerase moves along the DNA and produces mRNA

4) Termination

where RNA polymerase reached the terminator t and RNA is released from the duplex DNA

two types:

a) Intrinsic terminator

signals core enzyme to terminate

b) Rho dependent terminator

requires rho factor

5) Antiterminator

prevention of termination to produce late genes
